My sister-in-law told me about this story this morning.
I can't get it off my mind.
Please pray for little Gavin and his family.

It sounds like they need a miracle and that's what prayers can do!
It just reiterates to me how important it is to immunize our children.

I haven't been able to stop thinking about it either. Nothing like hearing a story like this to make you realize that this is exactly why we have vaccinations--to prevent this from ever happening. And I could quote her all day long..."for the love of pete! IMMUNIZE YOUR KIDS!"
This is TERRIBLE!!! How terrifying that you can do every thing you can to protect your babies and they can still be at risk because of others not immunizing! It just makes me sick! From now on I will be cheering when we make it to those 8week shots! SCARY!!!
I had to come home and look at this after you told me this morning. So dang sad! At least that poor baby is not suffering anymore. Poke, poke, poke people...there is modern medicine and immunizations for a reason!
I know I surely wouldnt have wanted my kids to get those deadly diseases and I certainly dont want my grandkids to get them because somebody else chose not to immunize their child and put mine at risk. Soooo sad. Love mom
