Memories...

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.
HAVE FUN!

Oh boy, I have thought and thought and don't know how to choose just one...so many great memories with you!

Of course, I remember all of the various sports we played together and always being excited if you were on my summer softball team again. I remember going to watch you play volleyball at Sugar Salem after I graduated and was at Ricks. I had just started dating Garrett so we sat and talked all about it. Who would have guessed that after all those boys we talked about in high school, your brother would end up being one of them? And then all of your visits to Provo, especially the one in the summer where it was SO hot and we didn't have AC and we honestly thought we were going to die. And then I loved your visit to Des Moines before you got married and it was just the two of us. No husbands (mine was out of town), and no kids for either of us yet--and it was just a RIOT. We got to go to Nauvoo and hang out like wild women, ha ha! It was so fun. Seriously, there have been so many good times and I have been so lucky since marrying Garrett because I got you too as part of the deal! I definitely got a good end of the deal there. I just wish we were closer to make more memories, but of course, I am SO glad we have had the opportunity to make as many as we have. Love you and miss you lots!

Wow! Where do I even start.... maybe with the time we did a 360 on HWY 39 in your car and amazingly no one was on the road but us, or all of our student council memories, or all the days at the beach, or the days of Tyler & Dwight or Justin & Drew. The high school dances, the many days of sluffed seminary, Tamara or Darrell'd! Salt & Peppa, Fun Luvin' Criminals. Stick shift ..... :-) The blue light monster! Sheesh! So many memories!

The only thing I wish as I think back on all of these good times is that we could make more recent ones! We'll definitely have to work on that one!

Love ya... miss ya tons!

OH Hillary--there are so many. I remember the day you were born. We were all so excited to have another baby. Garrett was so excited and proud of you and I think he still is. I am so glad that you and him have had a close relationship and still do. Shopping and talking. I remember coming to help when Cash was born. Visiting in the middle of the night while you fed him and just trying to help you recover and get through your rn program---which you did in flying colors through all of that!! Planning your wedding and all the girl things. I love your laugh and beautiful smile. You make us happy. You are a great mom and I know you love love love being a mom. I remember when you told me you always wanted to be a nurse until you became a mom---with about 3 months to go til you got your RN and that was about 7 days after Cash was born. I know you are a wonderful nurse too though. We love you. I too am glad you and Teresa didnt get hurt during the 360!!! I guess I didnt know about that!!!! love mom

Seeing as we have never officially met it is so funny that I feel like I can still comment on this post. My memory is of course that time I answered the phone at Garrett and Becky's and we had a nice long conversation like we had known each other for a long time. But in a way we had via Becky. I still hope that someday we will be able to meet in real person.

Hey Hillary,
If you really think about it, we really didn't have you in the Foothills East ward all that long. I do remember when we had you and the Hill's over for dinner. That was fun. Cash was just tiny. Then I just remember hanging out with you guys at ward activities. I alos love how you always said how cute Owen was (which he is :)). It is so great that we have blogging, otherwise I would probably never know what happened to you :)!

I remember when I was in 7th grade and I started getting to know all the "snake river boys"....and the "snake river girls" did NOT like that very much! ;) Oh boy! We were off to a bumpy start weren't we?! ;) -Those dang boys always got in the way! We could have been bestest friends! Just look at us now. ;)

Hillary: Hey, I just found your blog through Garrett and Becky's blog. Anyway, one of the main memories is when you guys would come to G & G Wilks' house and we would go sledding in the winter or go to the lake in the summer.

Remember when we were on a ski boat with Rhonda Walker's little brother and he decided to show off which led to giant purple bruises on your face. OH, I felt so bad for you that day.

Hey Hilary! I'm doing great! Congrats on expecting another baby!! You're braver than me right now! My memory of you is when we went to Boise together with Bell Voiux (cant remember the spelling!) It was then that I decided I wanted to live in Boise. Do you remember what we did with our spoons?! HA HA!!! Super funny! Good to hear from you! Sad to see that you don't live in Boise anymore! BYE!
