Folks... we have a little climber.

I just have to talk about my favorite boy for a minute because today has been quite the day for us and he has been so good. We have so many boxes scattered throughout the house, and he has been having the time of his life climbing all over them! Since I don't dare take any pictures of our current mess, I thought I would show you how some photos of his recent climbing adventures.

The photo below was taken just minutes after I removed the laundry from the dryer and found that Cash had made himself right at home inside. He thought it was the greatest thing to climb into the dryer!
I had to take this picture when I saw that my laundry basket had been turned upside-down and then pushed into Cash's room just so he could get better playing leverage for his toy! He was obviously so proud of himself, too!
We have a step-stool that Cash thinks is truly the best thing. Every once in a while I will get it out in the living room just so he can climb on it. It really keeps him busy for a while. But...
sometimes his climbing adventures don't go as well as planned. Like this one (yes, it was a bad mommy moment) when he took a plunge onto his head. He had quite the goose egg to show for it. He was pretty tough though and got over it pretty quickly after a bag of frozen peas was applied to the bump by his daddy!
That pretty much wraps up our past few days. Cash climbs while mommy packs. Ugghhh, I hope there is a light at the end of this tunnel!

OH Hillary!! Wow! You have your hands full here! And I can't believe that bump on his head. OH my gosh! I'm so glad you took a picture of it though. That little Cash, I can't believe him. In the dryer, on the clothes basket, on the step stool, on his head. Bummer! Well, you guys take it easy now, ya hear?!

So I was excited to see that you had left a comment on my blog, funny thing is, I didn't know you could do that...apparently I am new to blogging! Let's keep in touch. Cash is so dang cute! Good luck with everything

I love that you labeled the fall as "a bad mommy moment." Though I know we really aren't bad mommies it sure feels that way at the time, like a couple days ago when Carter fell out of his crib. Love the pictures, Cash will appreciate those when he gets older. The dryer pic will be good for the wedding video.

Hey Hillary, I love your blog! It's so great to be able to keep up with what you're up too. I've been doing the same thing you are - packing. Boxes everywhere! Sam thinks it's great fun to start pulling everything out of a box when he sees that it's full of stuff!
